STRATEGIC FACTORY SHIP FOR OVERSEAS FRANCE
- Water shortages are a recurring problem throughout overseas France.
- The proposal is based on the design and construction of the “Odeep One” water bottling plant in 2019.
- The strategic factory ship will have the capacity to produce 19,200 5-liter bottles of bottled water per 48-hour shift within 6 to 9 months.
- In addition, it will carry ~100 drinking water tanks of 20 to 36 m3 to set up rotations with the most remote disaster-stricken villages.
- That’s around 3,600 m3 of mobile drinking water per 48-hour rotation.
- A further 2,500 m3 of bulk drinking water will be available every 48-hour rotation, with the possibility of building a 3,000 m3 modular reservoir.
- It will not replace existing land-based facilities.
- The strategic factory ship will be mobile and self-sufficient in energy.
- It will set up a plastic collection system.
