Second Officer
About this Role The Second Officer maintains the on board documents and equipment necessary for the ship to safely conduct an ocean voyage, and reports to the Chief Officer as a leader in the Deck department.
Second Engineer
About this Role The Second Engineer is in charge of Engineering Department and responsible to the Chief Engineer for the daily operation of the machinery spaces, and ensuring the Engineering Officers and Ratings are competent and fit for their daily assigned duties.
Chief Engineer
About this Role The Chief Engineer is the Head of the Engineering department and responsible to the Master for administration, supervision, and safe and economical operation of the Engineering department. Includes managing a safe and proper engine room watch, automated alarms and warning devices, refrigeration, Galley machinery, to name but a few!
Captain
About this Role The Captain reports to the QHSE Manager and is in command of the vessel and all people onboard and holds overriding authority and responsibility of the vessel. The Captain represents the Company in local Maritime and Legal matters related to the vessel and/or crew. This role involves leading and managing the vessel’s operations, ensuring safe, secure, and efficient handling of the ship, and overseeing the crew’s performance. Collaborating closely with the Managing Director, the Captain aligns strategies, implements policies, and works towards achieving organizational goals. With their expertise in maritime operations, strong leadership skills, and commitment to upholding the company’s values, the Captain contributes significantly to the overall success of the organization.
Environmental Engineer
About this Role The Environmental Engineer is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all waste management equipment and systems onboard the ship. This includes managing the processing, treatment, and disposal of waste, as well as all associated records required in compliance with regulations and procedures.
Chief Officer
About this Role The Chief Officer is in charge of the Deck department, responsible to the Master for the daily operation of the vessel, making sure that work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Engineering Administrator
The Engineering Administrator provides business administration support to the Chief Engineer, other Engineering Officers and the whole Engineering Department. A very dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities, and the chance to help our maritime trainees grow and develop as they study for qualifications and promotions.
Deck Administrator
The Deck Administrator is responsible to the Master/Captain for the general administration of the Deck department. You will assist with duty schedules, tracking flag state certifications for our marine crew, and keep the Deck department organized and functioning like a well-oiled machine.
